SCAM Warning from Birch Telecom
Birch Telecom wants to remind our customers that we will never request your password or other account information via email. This is an insecure method of communication, and as such Birch will never initiate any such communication to our customers.
Recently it was reported to us that a few Birch customers received requests to enter password information and other account information into an email, or to follow a weblink to enter this information. These emails may arrive with a subject line of "Dear Birch Subscriber," or something similar. If you are a recipient of one of these emails, DO NOT respond as these emails may compromise the security of your email account.
If you suspect that your account has been compromised, change your passwords immediately. If you are unable to change your email password or need assistance, contact us by phone at 888-772-4724.
Please safeguard your personal data. We suggest that you update all of your passwords on a regular basis (at a minimum of every three to six months).
