HOW TO PRAY THE HOLY ROSARY
1.-
By the sign of the Holy Cross, From our enemies Deliver us
Oh Lord our God, In the name of The father, The son and The Holy
Spirit. Amen
2.- Pray the act of contrition: O my God, I am heartfully sorry for
having offended thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just
punishment, but most of all because I have offended Thee my God, Who is
all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help
of Thy grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin.
Amen.
3.- Pray three hail Mary and a glory: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to
the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in
the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
4.-
Depending on the day of the week, we choose a Mistery to meditate, as
explained below. After saying the first Mistery, pray an "Our Father:
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil. Amen.
