1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by a website or external service on a user’s device. They may provide technical functions, remember preferences, measure use or recognise a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and identifiers.
2. Controller
The controller is Javier López, owner of Web católico de Javier, Spain. Contact: contactarcon@webcatolicodejavier.org.
3. Use on this website
The website does not display advertising, use affiliate links or Google Analytics, and does not use its own cookies for profiling or tracking. Hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical elements to deliver and protect a requested service.
4. External content
Search Console and server log analysis do not place cookies in visitors’ browsers. Ordinary WhatsApp and Telegram links do not connect until clicked. External video players, including YouTube or other platforms, may receive technical data and use cookies when activated.
5. Informed activation
On adapted pages, an external player is created only after the visitor receives information and chooses to activate it. Without that action the rest of the page remains available. YouTube privacy-enhanced mode is an additional safeguard but does not remove all Google processing after activation.
6. Managing cookies
Browser settings allow cookies to be viewed, blocked and deleted. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent external videos from playing but should not prevent access to the website’s own content. If a non-essential technology is found loading before consent, it will be blocked, removed or covered by an equally easy accept-and-reject mechanism.
7. Applicable rules and changes
This policy follows article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 and, where personal data are involved, the GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. It will be updated when the technologies used or the technical inventory change.
