Cookies are small files stored by a website or external service on a user’s device. They may provide technical functions, remember preferences, measure use or recognise a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and identifiers.

3. Use on this website
The website does not display advertising, use affiliate links or Google Analytics, and does not use its own cookies for profiling or tracking. Hosting or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical elements to deliver and protect a requested service.
4. External services
Webalizer produces aggregate statistics from server logs without installing a cookie in the visitor’s browser. Google Search Console is used by the owner to assess search performance and does not itself install Search Console cookies in visitors’ browsers.
On adapted pages, YouTube players are created only after the visitor presses the informed loading button. Google may then receive technical data and use cookies or similar technologies under its policies.
The Spanish and English daily Gospel pages display a local notice before loading evangeli.net. Its module is created only after the visitor presses the button. evangeli.net may then receive technical data and use its own cookies, including the technical session cookie PHPSESSID.
WhatsApp and Telegram are ordinary links to one-way channels. Their services and policies apply only after the link is followed.
5. Why no general cookie banner is shown
Web católico de Javier does not use its own non-essential cookies. Where a page offers external content that requires activation, the decision is requested within that module immediately before it is loaded. Choosing not to press the button does not prevent access to the portal’s own content.
6. Managing or deleting cookies
Browsers allow users to view, block and delete cookies in their settings. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent videos or external services from working, but it does not prevent access to the portal’s own content.
After external content has been activated, cookies and data stored by its provider can be removed or blocked through the browser.
7. Applicable rules and changes
This policy follows article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 and, where personal data are involved, the GDPR and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. It will be updated when the technologies used or the technical inventory change.
