Origin of this Rosary
It was Our Lord Himself who taught these two invocations to a Sister of the Monastery of the Visitation of Saint Mary in Chambéry: Sister María Marta Chambon, who died with a reputation for sanctity on 21 March 1907.
Our Lord was pleased to make, for all souls who pray these invocations, promises full of consolation and hope.
“I will grant everything that is asked of Me through the invocation of my Sacred Wounds.”
“It is necessary to spread this devotion.”
The way to pray this Rosary
Oh Jesus, Divine Redeemer, be merciful to us and to the entire world. Amen.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have pity on us and on the whole world. Amen.
Forgiveness and mercy, my Jesus; cover us with Your precious Blood during present dangers. Amen.
Eternal Father, have pity and mercy on us through the Blood of Your only-begotten Son. Amen, Amen, Amen.
On the large beads: Eternal Father, I offer You the Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ to heal the wounds of our souls.
On the small beads: My Jesus, forgiveness and mercy through the merits of Your Sacred Wounds.
Devout souls
This Rosary, besides being prayed in the monasteries of the Visitation throughout the world, was prayed by the Spanish religious Sister Eusebia Palomino.
