"I had an illness similar to psoriasis, with terrible itching until it bled, for three years. Exhausted, I began to invoke Faustino. One day while praying to him, I received an answer so clear and precise that I cried with joy: Yes, you will be healed. When? How? I had to wait six months. Then, having had to go to another doctor for a different illness, I took the opportunity to show him this sore, considered incurable by two other doctors. In one week this doctor managed to cure me. Without that 'yes' from Faustino regarding my healing, I would have sunk into despair. How much Faustino helped me with that hope full of admiration."

We summarize the account that Mª Eugenia de B., from Lima (Peru), sent us about the healing of Diego, a child with meningitis.
"Aunt of Diego, who was then in intensive care, asked me to go visit a family I did not know. (...) We prayed the Rosary and, at the end, I spoke to them about Faustino—something about his life and his love for the Virgin Mary—and I said: 'Let us ask Faustino for Diego to be healed.' So we did and asked him for it. I said: 'I don't mind making a fool of myself. Faustino will not make me look bad. He will heal Diego.' Those words came out of my lips before I realized what I had said. (...)
During the week that Diego remained in intensive care there were moments of crisis and moments of hope, but I continued praying. Until my friend called me to tell me that he had awakened and recognized his mother. Little by little he recovered. That is how I became convinced that Faustino had healed him. He is now a completely normal child. (...) This experience has been something wonderful for me."
